Fantastik 48 Hour Film Challenge
For the third year in a row, Ithaca Fantastik presents the Fantastik 48 Hour Film Challenge: daring student-filmmakers at Ithaca College to shoot and edit a short film in just 48 hours. Tying in with our Italian Psichedeliko retrospective, this year’s theme centers around a staple of the Giallo thriller: voyeurism, or deriving pleasure from the act of watching. With support from DKA at Ithaca College, filmmakers shot and edited their films from October 27–29 to be judged by our panel. All entries will be screened at The Studio in Center Ithaca on Saturday, November 11. The winning entry will receive its own screening before our festival closing film A DAY, on Sunday November 12.
